About Care At Home of Wa, Inc.

Make a Difference in the Quality of People’s Lives

“The love of this business comes from knowing that we can really making a difference in the quality of people’s lives,” says Vanessa Carr, C.E.O. and director of “Care At Home of WA, Inc.”

“With more than two decades in the Home Care industry, I have a passionate commitment to Caregiving. Since childhood, I always loved older people and knew I would work in a service capacity involving eldercare.”

“All of my life, I have cared for the people around me, whether they were family or friends. I’ve worked in nursing homes and convalescent centers. I was a pharmacy technician in the Air Force Natl. Guard. I was a troubleshooter and claims specialist in the health insurance industry. I was an executive secretary for leaders in the group health and financial planning industry. As an administrator and director since 1987 in the home health care field, my experience shows in the quality and the reputation of our services. Finding the best caregivers and being a great matchmaker in this industry is thrilling to me. I love making people’s lives easier.”

Care At Home of WA, Inc. has developed a compassionate, effective support system for clients and people with special needs. “We focus on the client’s care with their families and closely monitor their relationships with the caregivers. We are on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for those after hours and weekend urgent situations.”

“Real generosity toward the future lies in giving all to the present.”

“This quote from Albert Camus speaks to me as to why caregivers care so much. Mother to daughter, son to father, children to parents, caregiver to client; whatever the combination, it is the caring for each other that helps define us. Let us help you strengthen those ties, to enrich the lives of our loved ones.”

Our Philosophy of Home Care

Care situations are often compromised by lack of family support and can be limited by time or distance. Hospital stays often end abruptly or rehabilitation support comes to an end, and families are thrown into near crisis situations. The best way to predict the future is to help create it. When you see that a parent or a loved one is having difficulty remaining independent, it is time to start talking and planning for home care. As care managers and consultants, we can design plans and services that are affordable and have the continuity of great care and trusted personnel.

“Just like the care for my own Mother, this is how “Care At Home of WA, Inc.” will work for you. We have reasonable rates and will design your care around your specific needs. With an understanding and a true concern for our elders, I thank you for looking into our site. Direct hiring of caregivers through our registry for private employees is also available.
